Hi, I’m Michael and I’ve been your local expert in Houston, Texas, for a little over a year and a half now. Our city is becoming very metropolitan. Millions of people from all around the world! Meeting these people is actually one of the things I love most about leading tours for Houston Urban Adventures.
I’m an avid photographer and in my time off, you can find me with camera in-hand, trying to capture some kind of beautiful, interesting, or unique photo in and around Houston. Everything from nature and wildlife to models, even random things like an old broken phone booth with vines growing through it. There’s always something interesting and new to capture!
I love to hike — especially in the 20 sq km nature preserve on the northern edge of Houston. It’s very beautiful there and I always leave feeling very much at peace.
I hope you’ll come down to Houston for a visit some time. There’s so much to see and do, from exploring the underground tunnel system to grabbing a pint in one of our historic local pubs. Let me be your local expert to all the best hidden gems!
Cheers,
Mike
P.S. If you’re thinking of my photo, “CRIKEY! What’s he got there?”, it’s one of Texas’ most venomous snakes. It decided to slither into a girl’s tent on the nature preserve I used to volunteer at. I came running after hearing screams from the campground!
